Our story

Sakbah — one table brings us together

A simple idea: bring the Kuwaiti table home, with the same generosity it is served with.

How it started

Every Kuwaiti household knows the feeling: the best part of an occasion is everyone gathered around one table — and the hardest part is preparing it.

Sakbah takes that work off the host, without taking anything away from the table itself.

Our kitchen

We cook contemporary Kuwaiti dishes: familiar recipes, prepared and presented so they arrive at the table at their best.

We cook in measured batches, and some dishes are made to order, which is why they need advance notice.

Identity and Al Sadu

Our identity draws on Kuwaiti Al Sadu weaving: repeating geometry, earth tones and disciplined detail.

We use Al Sadu as a considered signature rather than decoration — the same logic we cook with.

What we hold to

  • Generosity

Portions and presentation made for guests, not for photos.

  • Consistency

The same dish, the same way, every order.

  • Clarity

Sizes, ingredients and preparation times stated before you order.

  • Care

Packaging that protects heat and presentation until serving.
